Qiana Collins

Qiana is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of Global Star Financial, a consulting firm supporting businesses in the achievement of financial health, clarity, and growth since 2009. As Principal Consultant, Qiana monitors the fiscal performance of companies of all sizes and provides expert financial planning & analysis in forecasting, bookkeeping, economic trends, revenue growth, and cost savings. She has over 15 years of experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets, simplifying complex financial procedures, reengineering business processes, and leading people.


Qiana has held both executive and senior management positions at major global corporations including Aramark, CNA Insurance, and MF Global Ltd. In leadership roles specializing in cross-functional financial and operational performance (Finance Director, Regional Finance Manager, Data Management Manager, and Assistant Global Controller, to name a few). Qiana has a record of streamlining financial systems with well-developed strategies that improve revenue recognition. A strong decision-maker with exceptional analytical skills, she believes that data-driven, client-centered partnerships yield the most effective business outcomes.


Qiana also maintained active membership in employee resource groups focused on the empowerment of women and African American professionals through special event planning, mentoring, personal development, skills building, and networking. When she is not helping businesses achieve their goals, Qiana is engaging in meaningful, rewarding work that builds strong communities, develops young Black professionals, and mentors youth. Over the years, she has volunteered in leadership capacities with both local and national organizations such as R.O.Y.A.L.T.Y. (Reaching Out Yearly to Appreciate, Lift, and Teach the Youth) based in Alabama and CHARM Outreach and Mentoring Services in her hometown of Chicago. In addition, she served a two-year term on the Easter Seals National Associate Board and has held the executive board title of Treasurer for several nonprofit organizations serving youth in Illinois. Qiana collaborates with business leaders and other professionals on improving the lives of children and adults with autism and other disabilities. Currently she is a board member and Treasurer for Love of Learning Institute a non for profit that delivers early childhood experiences in young children ages 0-5 years old. Qiana is also a devoted and active financial member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.


Qiana holds an MBA in International Business and an MS in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is also a proud graduate of Lewis University, where she earned a BA degree in Accounting & Management Information Systems.
